Who We Are
PDG Advertising—fittingly named after its creator—was founded in 2015 by Peter Doak. Today, it continues to be run as a digital advertising agency based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. It has taken some time to fully develop our theory, but the main focus of PDG Advertising is to clearly deliver positive advertising at each stage of the customer journey.

I’m Peter and I work with the team at PDG Advertising to develop digital advertising solutions for our customers and positively affect their businesses. Our team creates exceptional adverts that bring customers through a journey. Our customers are incredibly important to me, they range from healthcare to education to online learning and are dotted across the world. This hive of industry and global experience is perfect to keep on top of trends globally in online advertising.
Digital Advertising Associate – Design
Graduated in Design for Visual Communication from the Ulster University, my strengths lie in my ability to convert design briefs into highly successful communication solutions, whatever the medium. Passionate about new ideas and developments in design technology, I have a great understanding of what appeals to an audience and how to communicate effectively with them. Moreover, having worked in design/marketing and photography in Belfast, I enjoy putting my photography skills to good use in my clients marketing collateral.
Digital Advertising Associate – Account Management
My main focus is that the clients experience with us is a positive one. I make sure we do what we say we are going to do at PDG Advertising so that we never over promise and under deliver! I am a people person and being able to work in a team is something I really enjoy. I have always been really interested in marketing and social media so that is why PDG is the perfect fit for me.
What We Do
What is the customer journey? PDG Advertising defines it as the following:
People who don’t know you.
People who know you but haven’t connected with you on social media or via email.
People who have connected with you.
People who have purchased from you.
People who have purchased twice from you.
People who would recommend you.
How do we positively affect the customer journey? We run ads. We send emails. We track results.
The platforms we run adverts on are—but aren’t limited to—Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads and Google Ads. The email marketing platforms we use to develop email funnels are—and again, not limited to—MailChimp, Keap, Ontraport, ActiveCampaign and CleverTap.
It may sound pretty simple, but our formula for delivering a quality advertising environment has taken more than ten years to craft. Over this decade of executing and implementing successful campaigns, we have also faced and worked through our fair share of failures. Now we can speak with authority about our ability to bring customers to a new level.
Our business is truly global, as our people are global. PDG Advertising has a core team of three employees based in Belfast—Peter, Anthony and Nicole. In addition to this core, we boast a network of vital contractors all over the world, from Kentucky in the USA to Zagreb in Croatia!
Why do we do this? Why not just localise ourselves to Belfast, where our headquarters is? Because we know that understanding different cultures, different people and different ways of doing things makes us better advertisers.
It’s not only our team that is global. Our first customer, Stone River eLearning, is based in Iowa, USA. We are grateful to be able to say that they are still with us today. Here is what Mark, our valued client, has to say about our work:

It doesn’t stop there: Our current customer roster spans from the US to Northern Ireland, the UK and Europe, down to South Africa and all the way over to Australia. We wouldn’t have it any other way! The mix of experience we have in cultures, people, systems, and business models is one of our greatest assets.
We mentioned above, but find it worth repeating, that we are diverse in our mix of industries. We can advertise for anything from the education sector to the FMCG sector, from entertainment to high-end luxury products. All the while, we’re gathering and deploying our skills on an hour-to-hour, day-to-day, week-to-week, month-to-month basis.
