The Elements of Value

Sometimes you’re travelling through the internet and an article or picture just jumps out at you.

This article from Harvard Business Review is all about the elements of value:

Value, according to the dictionary is the regard but something has held to deserve; the Importance, worth, or usefulness of something.

In advertising and in business always the amount of value you can bring to the consumer is of key importance to your overall reason for existing, and likly the reason you won’t exist in the future if you don’t take heed of this article!

The main event in this Harvard Business Review article called the elements of value is a infographic style diagram that was created in 2015 by Bain and Company.



This diagram really reminds us at PDG Advertising of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Something to check out if you haven’t seen it yet.

For our customers…we are picking out how many of the things that they do that are on the infographic. Bringing those things, those benefits to the fore of our customers advertising campaigns is key to their success.

For ourselves we are finding really interesting is going through the infographic and working out how we are functionally helping customers emotionally helping customers changing customers lives and deliver a level of social impact to our daily business dealings.
