We Successfully Completed Facebook Blueprint!

Facebook has developed an advanced-level training program, Blueprint, recognizing advanced-level proficiency in Facebook’s family of products and services. Over the past 2 months, we have been learning all of the things that Facebook recognize as high performance in terms of advertising on the platform. Resulting in the successful completion of all modules from Facebook basics to complex re-targeting. 


What did we learn? 

Having worked on Facebook for the past 10 years it’s possible to become complacent and going into the training program we weren’t sure what value we were going to get out of it.  We were wrong! We learned so much, from the best way to set up adverts to why some adverts do better than others, based on real stats from the platform itself.

What were our key takeaways?

We found it extremely useful to be reminded of the importance of understanding who your customer is, as outlined by these 6 questions:

  1. Who are the people in your target audiences?
  2. How do you segment your audience?
  3. What types of data/insights do you have about them?
  4. What are your key focus markets now and in the future?
  5. Who manages your CRM database? How do you use your database for marketing purposes today?
  6. What offline data do you use for targeting in other campaigns?

We learned the phrase “Atomized Content”…

Which means creating high-quality stories that resonate, are a part of a whole, but can stand alone.

It was very helpful to see at a birds-eye level all the available Calls to Action (CTA) on Facebook adverts.

Wrapping up
